A model project of monument restoration called “Centre of Building Heritage in Plasy” was implemented with the support of EU Structural Funds from 2009 to autumn 2015. It included the adaptation of two considerably devastated, but very valuable heritage sites of the former monastery – a brewery and a farmyard.

The display comprises nearly 100 rail vehicles of various gauges and types – from a steam locomotive manufactured in 1870 to new traction vehicles that are a century younger.

In Mirakulum in Nymburk you will discover a number of fun attractions. Children can conquer a fantastic wooden castle, play in a giant sandbox or get through the pitfalls of the rope jungle. There are also trampolines, climbing frames, swings and an amphitheater, where performances are given.

It is a very well-preserved classical castle building - castle buildings surrounding the courtyard, dominant circular tower, entrance bridge to the castle going over the castle moat. The castle was closed to the public for seventy years and served as a social facility.

The house was built in 1605, initially as a library, picture gallery, and an art chamber to hold the collections of Petr Vok. The first books were placed on the shelves in 1608. It was a representative seat intended also for hosting the governor’s official guests.

The first known references to Losiny relate to the village and the local church. The date of origin of the fortress which preceded the castle is uncertain. The estate held long the king who often pawned it. Individual owners took turns.

The Žatec Gate was build in 1500 as stated in one of the three Latin inscriptions on the front facade. It was not a gate in all intents and purposes – that one was situated a little more to the east on Žatecká streer and the date of its demolition is not known. Today’s Žatec Gate was situated in front of the original gate.

Let me introduce the company CMQC , which is sol producer and distributor of commemorative coins of interesting places for which official commemorative coins are minted. Each coin is unique for each place; its appearance is always approved by the owner or keeper and can be bought only on the place.

Coins are minted for the places being interesting for tourists, such as castles, chateaux’s, churches, synagogues, observation towers, peaks, historical breweries, restaurants and hotels. The coins (made of burnished brass with 30 mm diameter and 2 mm thickness) often bear historical coats of arms, company logos, dominant views, and important years of human history...

Commemorative coins can be bought mostly in sales machines for 50 CZK or 2 EUR.On some places commemorative coins of old brass or white brass surface working are available for 80 CZK.Process of adding new places is continuously running.
